From Cast-Offs to Everyday Wear

We work with post-consumer denim that has already lived a life. Instead of producing new fabric - a process known for heavy water use and chemical treatments - we choose to reuse what already exists.

Each jacket is cleaned, carefully re-cut, and patched into an easy, wearable piece made for daily use. The variations in colour and texture are natural, and intentional. Some jackets remain raw and minimal; others carry subtle hand-done details.

No two pieces are the same - every jacket is truly one of a kind.

Made from 100% post-consumer denim, each piece is crafted using reclaimed jeans, skirts, and other denim garments. The fabric is carefully patchworked, giving new life to worn materials while keeping their strength and character.

Care Instructions

Machine wash in cold wash cycle and lay flat to dry. Denim will soften with time, becoming even more comfortable with each wear.

These vests begin their journey in the Global North—as once-loved jeans, skirts, and shorts—before making their way to India, where their second life begins. Each piece is carefully cleaned, sorted, and transformed by our team of skilled tailors at Neelam Traders in Uttar Pradesh, in creative collaboration with our partners at Kraftloom.

Though this piece doesn’t yet carry a traditional artform, it’s deeply rooted in hands-on craftsmanship. From selecting and reclaiming fabric scraps to building patchworked panels and stitching each vest with care, this process honors material and maker alike. Our vision is to collaborate with artisans to bring embroidery, applique, or other textile artforms into future editions—merging utility with tradition, and circularity with craft.
