regenerative cotton pleat skirt
Rooted in the Earth. Finished by Hand.
This skirt is more than just beautiful — it’s regenerative, in every sense of the word.
Crafted from regenerative cotton, grown using farming practices that restore soil health and biodiversity, it’s a step beyond sustainability — it gives back to the land it comes from.
The fabric is then block printed using the Ajrakh technique, a centuries-old resist-dye process using only natural dyes like indigo, madder, and iron. Each motif is printed layer by layer, washed, dried, and reprinted over several days — building rhythm, richness, and raw beauty.
And finally, the edges. Hand-sewn by artisans to create a one-of-a-kind finish — subtle, imperfect, and full of soul.
What Makes It Special:
- Made with regenerative cotton — good for the earth, soft on the skin
- Hand block-printed with Ajrakh, using natural dyes only
- Hand-finished edges for a signature detail
- Light, breathable, and designed to move with you
Wear It Your Way:
- Pair with a tucked-in shirt, crop top, or oversized pullover
- Dress it up with boots or go barefoot on sun-warmed ground
- Layer with tights and a knit for colder days — it’s seasonless by design
Made with the Reyaan Community:
Each skirt supports the work of our artisans in Kutch — from the cotton farmers working with the land, to the block printers and hand sewers who finish every detail with care and intention.
Because clothing should feel as good as it looks.
And leave the world a little better than it found it.

Why Regenerative Cotton + Ajrakh
Regenerative cotton goes beyond sustainability — it’s grown using practices that heal the soil, increase biodiversity, and respect nature’s rhythms.
This cotton is soft, breathable, and gentle on your skin — and the earth.
Each garment is then block printed using Ajrakh, a centuries-old resist-dye process done entirely by hand using natural dyes like indigo, iron, and madder. The result is a rich, layered pattern that reflects time, craft, and care.
