Block printed by hand using the Ajrakh resist dye technique, and sewn in small batches with care.

Why Kala Cotton + Ajrakh

Kala cotton is a resilient, rain-fed cotton variety, native to the arid lands of Kutch. Grown without pesticides or irrigation, it supports low-impact farming and honors traditional seed systems.

Naturally breathable, durable, and textured, it gets softer with every wear.
The fabric is hand block-printed using Ajrakh, a centuries-old technique using natural dyes like indigo, iron, and madder — layered over several days in a rhythm of printing, washing, and sun-drying.

Each shirt is one-of-a-kind — no two are exactly alike.
