A shopper tote bag made from Banana tree! How cool is that. Our nature shopper bags are made from Banana fibre and hand crocheted by talented women artisans from the South of India.
Banana fibre is one of world's strongest natural fibre and is 100% bio-degradable. We have used the techniques of crochet and macrame for our first two designs in this collection.
It's cool, it's handmade, it's plastic-free and it's 100% natural and vegan - what else can one ask for!

These stunning products are made by talented artisans from a village called Anegundi in south of India.
The motto of our the trust we are working with is "Empowerment through Conservation" . An initiative started back in 1998, they have successfully created livelihood opportunities for women, based on the natural ecology of the region.
Blending locally available materials and skills that could be strengthened this group developed a range of ‘banana fibre products’, today this unit has grown from its original group of 8 women, to supporting the livelihoods of around 150-200 women.

The bag is incredibly sturdy and well-made with ample space for carrying, whether it’s groceries, beach kit, or computer case. Very lovely.

Die Tasche ist einfach nur ein Traum! Ich habe sogar ein Video gesehen, wie die Frau die Tasche herstellt. So wunderschön! Eigentlich das einzig Richtige, in der jetzigen Zeit, nicht? Das man weiss, woher die Dinge kommen, wie sie hergestellt werden, wie es den Menschen geht, die dahinter stehen. Genau deswegen ist mir so eine Tasche tausendmal lieber als ein teures Label, das rein als Prestige gilt, aber keinen echten "Wert" hat!! Danke, liebe Fifth Origins!

Die Tasche ist wunderschön, hohe Qualiät
Die Tasche ist wunderschön und von einer tollen Qualität. Es geht richtig viel hinein und trotzdem ist sie nicht zu schwer. Sie hat so richtig lange Henkel und kann damit toll über der Schulter auch über einer dicken Jacke getragen werden. Ich habe sie immer bei mir und freue mich jeden Tag daran. Diese Tasche muss man einfach haben!! Ich kann diese Tasche wie alles in diesem Shop nur empfehlen, weil hier alles stimmt. Vielen Dank für so tolle, wertige und nachhaltige Produkte.❤️
